Call or visit us to see what we have for you today! Southwest Golf Cars, Inc. is proud to offer what we feel are the finest rebuilt Club Cars. When you want more than a used car but are not quite ready to invest in a new one, a rebuilt car may be right for you! We take pride in the process we have developed for rebuilding. Take a look at our showrooms and try to pick out the rebuilt cars from the new ones; you may have a hard time figuring out which is which.
This is what we do to rebuild a Club Car:
- Strip car down to frame. Clean, inspect, and repair as necessary.
- Remove motor and drive unit (electric) rebuild both as necessary.
- Recondition engine (gas), replace spark plug, air filter, belts, change oil.
- Rebuild clutch (gas) – as necessary.
- Turn brake drums and resurface pads, adjust brakes – as necessary.
- Rebuild front suspension and steering – as necessary.
- Install electrical street package. Headlights, tail & brake lights, horn, battery level indicator.
- Mount new tires and turbo wheel covers.
- Install high-speed motor, or high-speed gears (as options)
- Install new battery (gas) / batteries (electric)
- Install new accelerator and brake pedal pads.
- Install new or painted body
- Install tinted front windshield, full view mirror, rear windshield, and cargo enclosure.
- Re-upholster seats and apply accent or pins stripes to match body color.
Please note, not all dealers rebuild cars in the same manner. New seats and pin stripes do not constitute a rebuilt car. Look at the process and make sure you are getting what is advertised and what you want. There is a difference in parts used when re-building cars. We use genuine Club Car parts, which have been specifically designed and engineered for use on Club Car products. Non-OEM parts may not hold up or do the same job as OEM parts. You may not see the difference now, but it will make a difference later! |
